Wine photo of the week 

Netting against birds is essential here in the Neusiederslee region of Austria. Alois Kracher leaves his
 grapes on the vine well into Autumn (they are pictured here in mid October) hoping for botrytis
 to strike. In most years it comes, but it's a nervous waiting game.
