The winery at
Vergelegen, in Somerset West, near Stellenbosch, South Africa. It's tiered to
allow for gravity flow from the fermentation
tanks into the stainless steel tanks below. Vergelegen is a showpiece winery
making some impressive wines - it's woned by Anglo American
and you get the impression that money isn't a problem here. Beautiful views and
wonderful grounds, together with a nice restaurant make
this a popular destination with wine tourists.
