Wineanorak.com's
privacy policy Our privacy policy is pretty
straightforward: we will not sell or in any other way make available your details to a
third party.
Competitions
The one potential exception to this rule concerns competitions in conjunction with
retailers: if you choose to enter a competition, it is assumed that you do not mind the
retailer in question having your e-mail address. In any case, you will be given the option
to withold your details by means of a check box in the competition form.
Mailing list
Individuals will only be added to the wineanorak.com mailing list at their own request. We
will not automatically add anyone to our mailing list. We will include details of how to
be removed from the list with each mailing that is sent out. We will promptly honour
requests by individuals to be deleted from the mailing list.
Site visitors
We do not collect or track IP addresses of visitors to the site, nor do we
use our own cookies (see note below about google analytics, though). However, our banner rotation software logs the IP addresses of all those who
have viewed each advertising banner in the last 24 h period, but this information is
password protected and is only available to the site administrator (me) and the individual
advertisers. I do not use or archive this information.
