Off to Portugal
Heading off in a few hours for Portugal. This time, it's a short trip to the Beiras, including Bairrada, Dao (pictured) and a bit of the Beiras interior. I'm particularly looking forward to having a first look at Bairrada, a region I've somehow managed to miss off my list on previous visits.

Good see that you are coming to our area. This is some of the best wine in Portugal. You must go to Quinta Cabriz at Carregal do Sal.

We were planning a trip to the Douro region to combine some port tasting with some scenery. Is the Dao area just good for wine or is there something there for the (very) casual wine tourist too?
