Video: two superb Syrahs: South Africa and New Zealand

A video of me tasting two utterly brilliant Syrahs: Mullineux 2008 (Swartland, South Africa) and Villa Maria Cellar Selection 2007 (Gimblett Gravels, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand). I really liked these wines.

That plane is hilarious! The camera angle and lighting is much improved - makes you look human ;-)
Good stuff.

Really interesting and good - but keep your eyeline lower and more steady - will make you seem more composed!

I agree - Jamie you seem not to be looking at the camera - you are looking at someone to the top left of the camera - anyway as always appreciate your insight - where can we buy these wines? - they sound excellent!!!

Glad you liked the syrah Jamie .We were reluctant to release it so early and will delay the next vintage for maybe a year.
The wine is of course still a baby and needs up to a 12 hour decant at the moment.
Anon----the wine is currently available from BBR but we have decided to import the wines ourselves, and hence a number of merchants including the Sampler,Jeroboams,Swig and Handfords will be selling the wine soon.

Thanks for the pointers - the not looking at the camera thing is because there's an lcd screen showing what the camera is recording left of the lens - need to focus on the lens!

Keith, glad to hear it - seems to be a sensible way to go - keeps the number of margins down, too.
