wineanorak.com's last competition

Oz Clarke's new CD-ROM: the winners

So, we ran our random number generator, and the three lucky winners of a copy of Oz Clarke's wine guide 2002 were:

Isidoro Martinez Velez, George Hutchison and Tim Parry

Thanks to everyone who took the trouble to enter, and we hope to have another competition soon.

These were the questions, which I'm glad to say everyone entering the competition got right:

(1) Which of the following trees is commonly used to make wine barrels?

(2) Which of these grapes is NOT associated with Bordeaux?
(3) How many standard bottles of wine does a magnum contain?

(4) Which grape is Chablis made from?

The small print: The winner will be drawn from all correct entries received by the end of March 2002. My decision is final.  Because the result will be announced on this site, if you enter you must agree for your name to be posted here if you win. Wineanorak.com has hosted this competition in good faith, but cannot accept any liability for the prize. Just one entry per household, please—I reserve the right to disqualify anyone suspected of spamming with multiple entries.
