Photographs from the Northern Rhône
Part 3: Côte Rôtie

A gallery of pictures from Côte Rôtie, in France's Northern Rhône. A relatively small hillside appellation of some 200 ha, it is the most northerly of the Northern Rhône's subregions. Just red wines are made, predominantly from Syrah, but often with a small proportion of the white grape Viognier, too. (For more info see my Spotlight on Côte Rôtie.)
