The
wines of Huff Estates, Prince Edward County
Visiting wine country in Ontario, Canada, part
8

Website: www.huffestates.com
Owners Lanny and Catherine Huff are
locals, having grown up in the County. They began their project in
2002/3, and the winery was opened in 2004. Since then they have
added luxury accommodation and an art gallery.
We tasted with winemaker Frédéric
Picard, who hails from Burgundy. He’s been at Huff since the
start. The focus is on sparkling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
