Highlights: Champagne De Saint Gall Premier Cru Le Blanc de Blancs
De Saint Gall is a premium, Chardonnay-focused brand from mega-Champagne cooperative Union Champagne, which has 2000 members. I’ve been impressed with their wines, and no apologies need to be made for the fact that they are made in a cooperative winery. They are really good. I reviewed the Orpale Grand Cru recently, and this time it’s the Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs.

Compact and elegant with powerful citrus fruit – lovely lemon with some grapefruit freshness. Very subtle peach and toast richness – the main focus is lovely linear citrus fruit. Amazing purity and balance. 93/100
