David Silva established his reputation as one of the world’s leading football players, including international recognition with Spain and a 10 year spell at Manchester City. But he’s also a proper wine geek, and as his career began to tail off he took the opportunity to start a winery on his own island of Gran Canaria in Spain, where he has been assisted by Jonatan Garcia of Suertes del Marques in Tenerife. Jamie Goode visits in June 2022 for the inauguration party for the winery.
