This is a new cuvée from Gosset. The wine is based on the 2013 vintage and was bottled in 2015, then disgorged 10 years later. The base was given more than a year on lees to add richness and complexity. This is quite beautiful.
Champagne Gosset Cuvée Dosage Zéro NV France
12% alcohol. Chardonnay 62%, Pinot Noir 38%, from a range of villages including Ambonnay, Avize, Bouzy, Cumières, Cramant, Villers-Marmery and Rilly la Montagne. Taut and expressive with lovely acidity supporting the rich, crystalline citrus fruit, together with a hint of apple and a long, tangy, slightly saline finish. This is vinous and delicious, and so fresh and gastronomic. A brilliant wine. 95/100
