Jamie Goode visits Familia Deicas in Uruguay, and learns about some of the innovative vineyard work they have done – inverting soils, adapting hail nets to keep birds away and hold the canopy in place, using plastic sheeting before vintage to prevent water infiltration when it rains, and trialling organics in a challenging climate.
