One of England’s oldest commercial vineyards, planted in 1969 by Bill and Sheila Greenwood. That year they began with 850 Reichensteiner vines, and the following year 2800 Huxelrebe and Muller Thurgau vines joined them in the ground. The first commercial vintage was 1972, producing 3 tons. Bacchus was first planted in 1977, and now they have 120 acres of vines.
