Video: visiting the Wagram wine region in Austria by tractor
Jamie Goode heads from Graffneg to the Wagram wine region in Austria on tractor. As part of the OTW tastings in 2023, the six OTW member wineries brought participants into the vineyards for a tasting, on the back of some lovely old tractors. This is a really interesting wine region specialising in Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner and Riesling, with a little bit of Pinot Noir. The soils are almost all deep wind-blown loess, but this has some calcium carbonate content.
