Weingut Krone Assmannshausen is a small Pinot-only winery made from a 3.7 hectare vineyard that used to belong to a hotel, with violet slate soils. This is a famous place for Spätburgunder in Germany. Since 2007 Krone have been owned by Weingüter Wegeler.
