The wines of Masiero, a biodynamic producer in Italy’s Veneto

Website: https://www.verdugo.it/en/homepage-2/

Franco and Francesca Masiero founded this winery back in 1996, and they farm biodynamically. Their daughter Giulia Masiero has been involved in the project since 2015. [Francesca and Giulia are pictured above.]

They are based in the Veneto region, in the volcanic hills near Vicenzo. They have 3 hectares of vines with some Pinot Noir and Merlot on volcanic soils and old vine Garganega, Tai Rosso, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio on limestone soils.

I tasted these wines at the excellent Sublime wine festival in Berlin, May 2025.
