Highlights: Roebuck Estates Rosé de Noirs 2016 England

I’ve written about Roebuck Estate’s wines before. They are a relatively new entrant to the UK wine scene, but they seem to be nailing it. This is the debut Rosé de Noirs, and I really liked it.

Roebuck Estates Rosé de Noirs 2016 England
First vintage of this wine, just 2000 bottles made. 12% alcohol. Pale pink in colour. This is really pure and precise with fresh redcurrant and cherry fruit, as well as lively citrus notes. It’s very fine and linear with good acidity that is countered nicely by appropriate dosage. Really pure and quite delicious: combines fun with a touch of seriousness. 91/100
