Moët et Chandon have recently opened a new Champagne bar at Harrods, and I was asked if I wanted to check it out (disclosure, this was a freebie). So I went, and was quite impressed.
You can go big here and spend a lot of money on some old vintages, but equally it’s a relatively cheap way of drinking Moët Brut Imperial (or the rosé) in a nice setting (.£89 and £99 respectively). And there are some other options from the Moët stable, including Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc at £37 if you don’t want bubbles. There’s also a cocktail menu.
Food is by way of exquisite small plates. This isn’t a full meal, but they are a delicious accompaniment.
