Video: International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration (i4C) 2022
I head to Canada’s Niagara wine region for the International Cool Climate Chardonnnay Celebration 2022, known simply as i4C. It’s a great event that brings together Chardonnay producers from around the wine world. Here’s a short film capturing a little of the Friday and Saturday night events.
Part of the cool climate Chardonnay celebration is an educational session: a day looking at the more technical aspects of Chardonnay. This year, Andrew Jefford delivered the keynote, and then we had two sessions: one comparing the same Chardonnay grapes from Niagara made by different winemakers (the great Chardo swap), and then second looking at diverse Chardonnays introduced by local and international winemakers.
