11.5% alcohol. Golden in colour, this is aromatic with spicy apple and pear fruit and a hint of aniseed. The palate is powerful with a spicy, mineral twist. It’s oxidative, but with such a lovely lemon and lime acid line, and complex wax, spice and honey notes, finishing with a pleasing bitterness. Tangy and saline, with notes of orange peel, grapefruit and quinine. 94/100 (UK retail c £30)
