Photos from Karakterre 2024, a natural wine festival in Austria
Karakterre is an amazing two-day natural wine festival held annually in Burgenland, Austria, and now also in New York. It brings together winegrowers from Austria plus some friends from neighbouring countries. I’m here for the first time this year and here are some images from the fair and some of the satellite events, which included visits to Tschida, Preisinger, Schödl, Gut Oggau, dinner at Markus Altenberger and the vineyards of Hannes Schuster.
