So I’ve just arrived in Santiago, Chile, and time for lunch at Hotel Magnolia while they prepare my room. Starting with a glass of this from their wine list.

This is a project that famous terroir expert Pedro Parra is involved with. This is textured and layered. It’s dry with some crystalline citrus fruit, showing good acidity and just the first hints of a bit of toast and lanolin from bottle age. There’s lovely precision to this wine, flavour without heaviness. Drinking perfectly now. 92/100
