13% alcohol. Compagniesdrift is a BEE project from Meerlust, and the bulk of the operation is a wine storage and packaging facility, but since 2015 they have also been making their own wine. This is a beautifully focused, vivid, bright Bordeaux-style red with real tension. Lovely sweet blackcurrant and raspberry fruit with nice texture and some bright acidity, as well as a bit of tannic grip.
