100% Chardonnay. Just the cuvée press fraction used. 46% fermented in oak (small and large, all neutral) and the rest in stainless steel. 60 months on lees, bottled with residual sugar of 5 g/litre. This is fine, linear and delicate with good acidity supporting the bright citrus fruit, as well as subtle notes of baked bread and pastry. There’s a touch of grapefruit here, with zesty acidity finishing things off. So linear, precise and delicious. There’s a nice bitter twist on the finish. This is quite lovely. 93/100 (£21 mix six price at Majestic, which makes it great value for money)
