This is a significant producer, not just of Beaumes-de-Venise, but also of other crus. Altogether they have 70 hectares spread across different appellations, with 13 hectares of Vacqueyras, 13 hectares of Beaumes-de-Venise, 8 hectares of Muscat Beaumes-de-Venise, and then some Côtes-du-Rhône, Côtes-du-Ventoux and Vin de Pays.
They have a lot of Muscat Rouge, which is one of their specialities. Last year they made 5000 litres of it.
Domaine Saint Roch Epyminia Beaumes de Venise 2024
14.5% alcohol. 90% Syrah, 10% Viognier. This is really good. It has a floral nose with a touch of apricot, some white pepper, and lovely black cherry fruit. The palate has a bit of grippy structure, but also lovely fresh fruit. So expressive and well balanced, with warmth but also definition. 95/100
Domaine St Roch Cuvée Mes Sens Beaumes de Venise 2022
15% alcohol. 60% Syrah, 40% Grenache, one third new oak. From south-facing trias terroir in Suzette. Rich and ripe with slightly stewed fruit, some herbal hints, and then some warmth on the finish. This is a bit herbal. 89/100
Domaine St Roch Cuvée des Taus Beaumes de Venise 2022
14.5% alcohol. 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Cinsault. Delightfully peppery and expressive with some strawberry and cherry fruit, a bit of sweetness to the palate, and a sense of elegance and drinkability. I think the Cinsault has had a very positive influence on this blend. Quite lovely. 94/100

15% alcohol. Fresh, bright and tangy with mandarin and table grape notes. Sweet and enticing, but stays bright and quite light in weight. 92/100
Domaine St Roch Muscat de Beaumes de Venise Plaisir 2025
15.5% alcohol. This is 50/50 Blanc and Rouge, and it’s very pale pink in colour. Lively, bright and sweet with some grapefruit and pineapple, finishing fresh. 91/100
Domaine St. Roch Muscat de Beaumes de Venise Cuvée Désir 2024
15.5% alcohol. Muscat rouge. Light red in colour. Fresh, juicy and quite lovely with strawberries, table grapes and tart cherries, combining sweetness with freshness. Really delightful, and very pure and fine. 93/100
Domaine St. Roch Muscat de Beaumes de Venise Cuvée Tentation 2023
This is havested 1 month later than normal and stays 18 months in barrel. It’s a slightly oxidative way of handling. Complex, layered and spicy with cedar, vanilla and coconut. Textured and grapey with nice complexity. 93/100
