The 4.5 hectares of leased vines are in the Cilento hills, a couple of hours from Naples, and they are farmed organically. These are naturally made wines with nothing added save for a small amount of SO2.

Vigneti Tardis Mercoledi 2016 Campania, Italy
This is Fiano, and it’s fermented in stainless steel and left on its lees until bottling, when it gets 5 mg/l bentonite fining and 15 mg/ml of SO2. There’s a tangy, slightly cheesy edge to the citrussy nose. Lovely bright, textured palate with a saline twist. This has lovely fruit, and it’s a bright, mineral wine. 93/100
Vigneti Tardis Lunedi 2018 Campania, Italy
Pale pink in colour, this is Primitivo direct pressed and fermented for three weeks on Fiano skins. It has a very interesting spicy, herbal nose with some reductive notes. The palate is fresh and detailed, bright and elegant with some savouriness. So digestible with lovely complexity. Distinctive. 94/100

Vigneti Tardis Martedi 2018 Campania, Italy
An old variety of Aglianico with bigger berries and thinner skins, 4 days maceration. It’s just free run with no pressings. Rich but very fresh with sweet blackberries and black cherries, showing nice structure with a vivid, vital character. Has nice sweet fruit but almost perfect balance. 94/100
Vigneti Tardis Venerdi 2017 Campania, Italy
This is a field blend. Chunky, with lovely pretty pear fruit and fine citrus and fennel notes. Nice weight with a bit of pithy character. Nice weight and a lovely lemon and herb finish. 93/100

Vigneti Tardis Sabato 2017 Campania, Italy
Aglianico, with 2.5 week maceration. Structured and concentrated with vivid, tannic, bright raspberry and red cherry fruit. Fine and expressive with nice weight. There’s a wall of tannin here, but it’s a really lovely wine. 94/100
