Hideaway is a 2.2 hectare property with 1.3 hectares of vines. They also grow figs, apricots and peaches and have a wildlife habitat. Last year they did a crowdfunded biodiversity project. Farming is organic and they just grow PIWIs (resistant grapes).

A blend of Orion and Phoenix varieties. Fresh, fruity, lively and bright with nice crisp citrus fruit. Delicate and fine with some sweetness on the finish. 89/100
Hideaway Vingård Røde Gæs Semi-Sparkling 2024 Denmark
This is a blend of Rondo, Bolero, Cabernet Cortis and Reberger. Juicy, fruity and bright, this is pure with delicate fruit and a touch of sweetness. Fine with expressive cherry notes. 90/100

Late harvest. This is fresh but has a nice density to the fruit. Rich, with bold melon and pear fruit, showing some sweetness but also great balance. 93/100

This is fine and textural with lovely detail to the ripe pear and melon fruit, with nice grapey richness. Such delicacy for Solaris with a hint of sweetness. 92/100

This is wild-fermented Souvignier Gris and Solaris, with two new barrels and four old ones. Lovely purity and fruit energy here. Lively and bright with great energy, and almost viscous in texture, with some spiciness and good precision. 92/100

This sweet wine is textured and off-dry with grapey richness and nice depth, with some fine spiciness on the finish. 91/100
Hideaway Vingård Rosali Souvignier Gris 2023 Denmark
This is the first vintage of this orange wine, which they made quite cautiously. They gave the wine 24 h maceration then pressed half, and left the other half on skins for three weeks. Bright aromas of apple and orange peel. The palate is tangy and lively with good structure and weight, as well as good acid. 92/100
