Maturana, an exciting boutique Chilean winery
Website: https://maturanawinery.com/en
José Ignacio Maturana worked as chief winemaker for Casa Silva for 15 years, but quit his job in 2014 to start a project with his brother Sebastien. They have constructed an impressive winery in Maule, and have long-term contracts with farmers in different regions: they emphasize that they pay a fair price for their grapes, well above the industry norms. José Igancio does the production side of things, while his brother deals with the rest. They are making some really interesting wines.
