Highlights: Flint Vineyard Silex 2024, an impressive English still white

Big fan of this East Anglian winery (see my write up here) and I think this is one of their best yet.
Flint Vineyard Silex 2024 England
11.5% alcohol. 66% Chardonnay, 24% Pinot Blanc, 6% Pinot Noir, 4% Pinot Gris. Hand harvested fruit from East Anglia (home vineyard), Kent (Whitewolf Estate) and Essex (Martins Lane), raised in concrete egg and used barrels. This is quite beautiful. Finely aromatic with citrus and pear as well as some chalkiness. Crystalline citrus fruit and delicate florals with a lovely palate, as well as a slight saltiness. So finely expressive, with just so many layers. A really textural wine with real finesse. 94/100
