Mosse Chenin 2023 Vin de France
11% alcohol. This is really good. It has a tangy nose with some spicy, flinty reductive notes framing vivid citrus fruit. The palate has real energy and complexity, with some saline detail, keen acidity and lots of salty lemon and lime character, together with notes of green apple, straw and cheese. A really beautiful, energetic, tangy Chenin Blanc that really delivers. 95/100 (UK retail around £28, agent is Les Caves de Pyrene)
