This is Gewurztraminer on clay/limestone soils, given some skin maceration (briefly) then aged in old barrels. It has a beautiful nose of candle wax, honey, peach and apricot. In the mouth it is dry and crystalline with fine spices and nice purity, showing ripe pear, lemon, green tea and a slight appley bite. Really serious stuff: ethereal and multidimensional. 95/100
