13% alcohol. From old vines on marne/limestone soils, vinified for three years with no added sulfites. This is ageing really well. It’s powerful and intense with keen acidity under lovely pear and citrus fruit with some spicy richness and a really saline twist. There’s a little apple and wax development here but it’s still so fresh, which is remarkable for a natural wine at age six. Such precision, purity and complexity. 95/100
