This is Grenache Noir from an old (1966 planted) vineyard in the Swan Valley near Perth. 30% whole bunch made with an infusion technique (a bucket full of juice splashed over daily) and then matured in used oak. Pepper, spice, cinnamon and a hint of ginger with liqueur-like red cherries and plums, as well as some sweet strawberry, fennel and dried herbs. Nice complexity here. 93/100
