Restaurants: Labombe by Trivet, London

A new star on the London restaurant scene is Labombe, the sister restaurant of Michelin-two-star Trivet, overseen by chef Jonny Lake and Isa Bal looking after the wine list. Labombe has already been awarded a Michelin star.
I visited with a wine producer, so I didn’t have the normal experience of ordering from the menu and plundering the wine list, but I wanted to plug it here because the food was exceptional, and it’s a beautiful space.
It’s part of the COMO hotel on Old Park Lane, a nice location on the fringes of Mayfair. Prices are very reasonable, and in the week there’s a set lunch for £30.
The wine list, which you can view on the restaurant website, is exceptional and amazingly diverse. Very Isa!
