Moreish: elegant wines from Dão and Bairrada, Portugal (and one from Spain, too)

This is the personal project of Luis Lopes, who makes the wines for Dão superstar Dominio de Açor. He began this itinerant project in 2013 and the wines are from vineyards in both Dão and Bairrada, and they are made in a focused, elegant style. He also makes a wine from Spain, too. The name derives from a Portuguese saying “Beber e chorar por mais”, which means “drinking and crying for more”. I tasted these wines at Simplesmente Vinho in February 2026.
