Highlights: Rocim NatCool Fresh From Amphora 2019

A short tasting video with this wine:

Herdade do Rocim NatCool Fresh from Amphora 2019 Alentejo, Portugal
12% alcohol. Made in a traditional ‘talha’ – the local name for large clay amphorae – this is part of the collaborative NatCool series of wines. The idea is that these should be naturally made, drinkable, affordable wines with moderate alcohol, sold in litre bottles. Cherry red in colour, this is really aromatic, with floral, herby, fruity notes. Honest. Nice berry fruits here. In the mouth this is fresh, grainy, supple and drinkable with really nice green notes framing the fruit. Has some grip and crunch that helps with drinkability, and good acidity. Massive drinkability here: this is a beautifully put together wine, with some raspberry and cranberry crunch. 93/100
