13.5% alcohol. Fruity, aromatic and pure with lovely sweet cherry and raspberry fruit with some fine spicy detail. This is really open and pure, but then the spicy structure reminds you that it is Sangiovese. Modern Chianti Classico and very good. 93/100 (£17 The Wine Society)
